Dear Triangle Land Conservancy Volunteer Hub, And Project Pando Volunteer Hub, and all the readers of the blog.
We need many more volunteers across the whole economy. What we need is to encourage people to volunteer. The goal isn’t to make money it’s about creating space for volunteers to come together.
We need to bring many more, people together and we need to invest our own time and effort to make it happen. A volunteer hub gives us a place to connect with many people who may need work. Volunteers can do many things like bike riding, coffee drinking, meditation, gardening, and playing games. Then amazing things will happen. Elders in the community can help their children plant trees. And when kids get out of school that have fund stuff to do like community gardening.
A volunteer hub is where we educate each other. Instead of sitting on our butts watching tv, we learn about birding and we can learn about cross pollination. We can learn many things at a volunteer hub. We can bring musicians together to volunteer and give away free lessons. Students can volunteer and do internships to learn skills like carpentry. And everyone can volunteer together to halt climate change, by planting trees and recycling.
A volunteer hub is where we can practice unity and solidarity. Unity is when we give up our differences. It’s when we do stuff with each other. It’s when create bonds like brothers when we actually dig a garden bed together, for instance. This is the start of solidarity which is when we stand united against a common cause, like global warming.
Our culture is missing so much community, how can we attract more volunteers?

How can I we help each other to make this vision a success?
