The Religions Save the Earth

Bahai Community, and Kadampa Buddhist Center, and all the readers of the blog.

We believe that all the world’s spiritual traditions stem from the universal desire to take care of the earth.

We envision a community garden movement that can unite people from all walks of life. This movement is more than just about food, it’s about creating spaces for connection, healing, and mutual support. It’s about making sure that everyone has the tools they need to grow, heal, and be part of a larger community.

Religious unity can be part of saving the environment and help save the earth from climate change. Cross cultural values such as compassion, caring, sharing and reciprocity can be applied to caring for the earth. This can help fuel environmental stewardship.

Another way that religion can help the environment is because they have a global and international reach. By working together religions can create a lot of change. On a local level religious foster community and can motivate people to plant trees, and advocate for change.

Unity can help make changes in the government by working together in policy changes for the common good. By making these choices and and through advocacy, taking care of the environment becomes part of our culture.

Dear Non Profits,

How can unity help to solve the world’s problems and heal the world?

How can Gardens for Earth reach out to more than one religion?
