Unity

Bahai Community, And all the readers of the blog.

We all need to pull together to save the environment. Garden Rangers includes men, women, children, all races, all religions, people with and without mental illness and also addictions. Addicts share coffee with non-addicts. People with and without mental illness do stuff like bike rides. People of different races work together outside and in restaurants. Having unity makes us less prejudice , more equal. This also makes us more happy because we love one another.

We believe that the world’s spiritual traditions stem from the universal desire to take care of the earth. We envision a community garden movement that can unite people from all walks of life. This movement is more than just about food, it’s about creating spaces for connection, healing, and mutual support. It’s about making sure that everyone has the tools they need to grow, heal and be part of a larger community. Unity can be part of the ethics for garden rangers. It’s through unity that we heal one another’s illesses. Garden Rangers can solve class tensions. A lot of times when we bring people together in different ways it tends to make people happy.

Having unity helps us to create urban spaces that benefit everyone and gets people off the streets. With unity and solidarity we become ready to work together for the common good. Then we become ready to help solve environmental problems that affect all of us in the present moment. This is how to build community gardens, and share food and recipes. Solidarity is when we all pull-together to make important changes our government and culture.

Dear community,

Can you please share any moments where bringing diverse people together has made people happier? Can you share any quotes or food for thought?
